Some of the best design I know comes from objects nobody thinks of as designed: bus tickets, matchboxes, the labels on hardware store drawers.
A collection on the wall
The studio wall is covered with packaging collected on trips. Most of it was never meant to be admired, and that is what makes it useful as reference: it shows what works when there is no budget for decoration.
Good everyday design is clear first and charming second.
